I hate RNG! lol So, I take my main to Cyrodiil, kill every mudcrab I see and still no Shard. My alt goes to Cyrodiil, kills 5 mudcrabs and gets that Shard.
Been playing her for three and a half years and don't have that Polished Shell Shard from mudcrabs. (Interestingly, the fish weren't destroyed on use, though monster trophies were.) If someone has Master Angler on all 8 of their original characters, it's distinctly possible that it's due to this system, when it still existed. Now you get the achievement progress when you pick them up, and can't move them around.Īlso, on PC, there for awhile, trophy fish where bound to account, but could be moved between characters, and consumed on any of them. Before that you could move the trophies around, and they were consumable. It was never true on consoles, and was changed on PC with 1.6 or 1.7. Each character must get them for their own achievement. But for solo achievements this is by far the most difficult thing to achieve.ĭo I want to get this changed? Just NO due to a simple reason: it's like that for years now and if it would change all people who achieved something in this regard would loose it.

Maybe some vet dungeon or trial achievements are harder. Master angler for comparison I've completed long time ago. When I look only on my most played (/played says ~50 days) bretone sorc I only have one third.

I play on PS4 since release, but I still have only half of them even when I sum up all my eight chars. On consoles they are character dependend. But as far as I know the trophies are much easier collected on PC.
